With 10+ years in clinical practise, coupled with experience working in leadership roles within organisational settings, I have a strong understanding of the challenges which both work and home life can bring. I incorporate evidence-based therepeutic approaches, tailoring these to meet your specific needs. Evidence-based modalities include: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-based therapy, Solution Focused and other techniques as is appropriate to support healthy adaptation and improved functioning.
I have worked with teenagers and adults to create desired change in behaviour, emotions and interpersonal relationships. My experience includes working with individuals & couples on the following issues: anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, grief, relationship issues, workplace issues, couples work, self-esteem.
As a TAC and WorkCover registered psychologist, I provide counselling services to support individuals who have been involved in, or affected by transport accidents, and individuals who have been injured at work or need support due to a workplace injury.
